【文】我所認識的blog
大家好：
前幾天本來打了很長一篇想要介紹我所認識的blog，但是不幸因為電腦問題，資料全失，我想這樣也好，一覺醒來，想了想，把廢話部分去掉，重新再打一次。
最近有不少朋友紛紛請我推薦blog，或甚至問有沒有辦法立刻生一個blog出來，我想「立刻」這種事對於blog老手來說，雖然不成問題，但還是要花點時間（讓我再度想起當初張育章大哥幫我們編採營架了一個blog，超令人感動），某種程度，我認為大家都可以開始去接觸、玩玩blog，玩出興趣來，它就變成你的網路基地、網路名片，沒玩出興趣來，至少你可以瞭解一下，改天你急著要用，會縮短很多上手的時間。
選blog很像我們在買Notebook或是買相機，剛好是一種急不得的過程，一開始我們總是四處打聽、盤算許多，然後很快買了一個自認為綜合評價最好最划算的一個，然後，用了之後，我們才發現哪邊哪邊不夠好，當我們越用得多，我們才越能知道自己真正的需要。所以，不要抱著一種「不用則已，用了就一輩子不換」的心態，這樣只會讓你遲遲不敢去決定而已。
另一方面，也要回到你如何看待blog，就像買PDA，有人可以純粹把它當作電話簿，有人幾乎把它發揮成一台超級電腦，沒有說哪一種比較好比較優秀，每個人想要、需要的程度不同，而且也隨著使用的經驗不斷調整。
對於一個剛要使用blog的使用者來說，我提出幾個點作為認識的脈絡：

1. blog是什麼？可以怎麼用？有什麼好用？
對我來說，blog的本質在於「記錄」，簡單地比喻，像是網路日記本，它當然是一種網頁，但是它透過一些程式設計，幫使用者省去編寫網頁的麻煩及難度，你花點時間把基本的模版架好之後，之後你post新文章，就像po BBS文章一樣簡單，你輸入標題、內文，按Enter，就能更新你的blog網頁，當然，如果你會越多html語法，你越能把你的blog弄得漂漂亮亮的。
基本上，瞭解blog有分兩個步驟，一個是讀一讀前人的大作，另一個是自己開始試用，很多地方都可以申請免費的blog，像是blogger、無名小站等等，特別強調是「試用」，因為如果要長期經營，應該還要考慮穩不穩定的因素。

2. blog的命脈有多長？網路上的長長久久很重要
有用過Email的人，應該最討厭一件事，就是E-mail換地址，換了之後，不但要大張旗鼓通知親朋好友，換了之後好一段時間，很多好朋友還是不會把你的mail改過來，於是，你可能要一直去收舊信箱，或者，每換一次就注定有些朋友的信以後你很難再收到。
blog也類似，但它比E-mail更麻煩，在於你所post的每一篇文章，都有一個固定網址，一旦你的blog大搬家，很多時候不是朋友連不到你的blog首頁而已，更可能是引用自你的超連結完全失效，別人引用你的文章或者你自己引用自己的文章，可能都連不到正確的位置。所以，在比較一堆炫麗的功能之前，我總是會提醒大家要在心中有這樣一個概念：「我的blog能夠長長久久嗎？」
要一生一世保證blog永遠存在大概是不可能的，但是至少短期內不要消失吧，我提供幾個建議：
- 找一家比較穩定的公司，不管是要付費還是免費
比如說，像是google旗下的blogger，聽起來較不大容易倒的樣子，相對而言，私人出資的無名小站，感覺就比較容易在發展過程中遇到危機。（但是，在危機中你會看到某些人的夢想在發亮：《無名小站站長想跟各位說的一段話》）
- 自己（或大家一起）付費買網路虛擬空間及固定網址（Domain name）
虛擬空間的意思，就是遠方的某些人，買了一堆硬碟，24小時連上網路，並且定期維護以及備份，而買虛擬空間服務的人，就可以把自己的網頁或檔案放在上面，然後透過網址連結，其他人就可以上去抓檔案下來或是閱讀網頁（網頁也是由檔案組成）。
固定網址（Domain name）則是全球有一個最高單位（Internet Network Information Center）在管理，它會授權給各區域國家或是單位，協助分配管理使用者網址，不管你透過什麼管道申請的（通常要付費），只要你申請到了你自己的網址，全世界就不能有第二個人跟你用一樣的網址，即便你以後換虛擬空間服務公司，這個網址也一樣可以續用。
這邊台灣或國外很多公司都有提供服務，但是我目前用的是張育章大哥推薦的一家國外公司—《TotalChoice Hosting》，廢話不多說，介紹我用的方案，請點選《TotalChoice Hosting 虛擬空間方案介紹》。我用的是最便宜的—450Mb的虛擬空間，一個月上限10G的網路流量，一年費用美金44元（約合新台幣1403元），我另外有透過這家公司幫我買網址，一年費用美金10.95元（約合新台幣349元）。
大家可以參考表列中這項服務附帶的功能，也可以拿這個價錢去比較國內的公司，我覺得是便宜很多。 - 如果有朋友提供可靠的空間及網址，也是不錯的考量

- Blogger (免費，google旗下子公司，可能比較不容易倒，CSB108目前用這個，我自己也用這個，但是未來可能會換)

[羊男實驗的咖啡館] (完全利用blogger程式及空間，推薦，介面很漂亮!) - Upsaid (便宜，公司小，有時不大穩定，易澄易叡用這個，南方目前也用這個)
[候診室] [南方文章海] - MT (全名Movable Type，一定要有自己的網路空間，軟體部分個人使用的話，可以免費下載，在台灣有相當多的專業使用者，一麟、育章大哥用這個)

[放屁(Fun&Peace)] [Blog Jas9](也是超漂亮!) - Plog (與MT類似，但是如果是同一個空間，安裝blog程式給一群人使用，MT要收費，plog則仍是免費軟體，昆澈用這個)
[Quintin's African Journal] - Typepad (有分很多種收費等級，最貴那種功能算很強，最便宜那種就還好，豐偉用這個，聽說南方也即將用這個)

4. 重點來了，我們有可能一起來玩blog嗎？
根據觀察、試用過一些blog的經驗，其實我還是比較喜歡MT或是plog系統，最簡單一件事，就是台灣的使用者多，一些基本教材相當豐富，可以省去很多摸索的麻煩，其次，我其實也比較喜歡MT或是plog的長相，另外，MT或plog可以使用自己的空間及網址，同時整個系統的程式似乎也比較簡便易用（相較於blogger），當然更重要的，是一些前輩們都開始使用這一系列的blog，讓我越來越相信一定有它不錯的地方，so，我會考慮在下一個系統換成MT或是plog。（不過這事有進度表卻沒有時間表）
至於怎麼樣大家一起來玩blog？我建議是降，如果有一些人可以形成group，那個group其實可以合資買下虛擬空間、網址、以及blog軟體（MT軟體如果要多人使用需要付費，plog軟體則仍是免費），然後有人上傳檔案把基礎的程式建立之後，就可以小眾式地開放給group成員申請，這個成員的朋友可以互相討論技術部分，甚至在架好blog之後玩起聯播等等。
我目前考慮使用plog，一來是它免費，二來似乎功能不比MT差，而關於plog從入門到安裝，也有現成的教材可以照表操課，我推薦幾個網頁／檔案大家可以去看看：

既然被點名了，那就說一下，
不過我也不知道該怎麼說，因為我也只用過
upsaid、blogger、MT三種介面而已，
而且其實比較熟的就是MT(另外都只會放文章，沒有鑽研過)
目前個人是沒有想到MT的缺點；
至於優點，應該是它的變化很多、容易，而且很多人在用，
資源也很多(MT在網路上有中文說明書step by step的教你、
還有很多網站會教初學者，如「憂鬱馬戲團」、「黃小黛islife」、還有朝唐附的連結等等)
其實「習慣」也是一個重要原因，只要用久了、習慣，
運用自如，自然會覺得好用
講到blog，我比較想講的是另外一部分，就是blogger、
人的部分，還有部落格聚，這種學習模式的體驗與激盪...
(哈 最近想寫的東西很多，要等過一陣子)
P.S.真的有固定的blog很重要，也會慢慢改變你的生活很多，
會逐漸發生一些奇妙的事......

Google Blogger相較於目光相對(或無名)的三個缺點:
1)回文必須要登入為會員
2)文章無法分類
3)CSS語法較不同？個人感覺

2.初始介面不如Blogger容易上手、提供的版面還是這裡較漂亮。
3.免費資源的穩定度可能不如blogger
